GHAZNI (The Killid Group) – At least 14 Taliban insurgents were killed and further seven wounded during clashes with Afghan security forces in Khowaja Omri district of Ghazni, local authorities said. Seven depot of the group has been wrecked.
Mohammad Arif Noori, spokesman for the Ghazni Governor, told The Killid that a special unit of Afghan forces Saturday night carried an operation in Khowaja Omri and Deh Yak districts, killing 14 Taliban insurgents.
Forces also seized some 10 arms of various kinds and a motorcycle left from the Taliban in the battlefield.
According to the Noori, forces discovered and wrecked seven depot fully loaded with explosives in Akhond Khail and Kamal Khail villages.
The operation came a day after the Taliban claimed Afghans security forces set some 80 stores on fire in Andar district of Ghazni province, which the spokesman denied.
