Asian Countries to Support Strengthening Cooperation with China

The presidents of Central Asian countries, including Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, have said that they support the strengthening of relations and cooperation between Central Asian countries and China.

This is while the president of China has announced a new trade plan for the development of Central Asia in a regional meeting with the leaders of five Central Asian countries.

The leaders of Central Asian countries, including Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, announced the strengthening of relations and making more cooperation with China and said that they will support China’s peaceful foreign policy towards the region.

Imam Ali Rahman, the president of Tajikistan, said at the China-Central Asia summit held in Xi’an city of China that he supports the strengthening of cooperation between Central Asia and China.

The President of Tajikistan called the development of relations between China and Central Asia important and emphasized interaction and partnership with this country.

“Now mankind has understood the necessity of interaction, this allows the people of different countries to live and develop in peace. In this severe international situation where tensions and threats have been increasing in the region and the world, the relation’s development of China and Central Asia is very important. Over the course of three decades, relations between Central Asia and China have been increased based on mutual understanding, trust and respect.”

Meanwhile, the president of Kazakhstan has also said that he supports China’s peaceful foreign policy towards Central Asia.

Kassym Jomart Tokayev, the president of Kazakhstan, called China’s foreign policy peaceful and praised China’s relations towards Central Asia. He added that Central Asia should be a space for cooperation instead of geopolitical confrontation.

Tokayev said: “The potential of cooperation between the countries of Central Asia with the colossal economic capabilities of China could be a trajectory to the partnership. Kazakhstan is ready to make any effort to achieve these lofty goals.”

This is while Xi Jinping, the President of China unveiled a plan for trade and development of Central Asia, including major projects and security relations.

According to reports, Beijing aims to expand transportation lines and speed up the development of a gas pipeline that will serve all Central Asian countries.
