According to the Tunisian authorities, this ship was carrying migrants from African countries to Italy and it sank off the coast of Tunisia this morning.
However, the Tunisian coast guard rescued five people from the ship.
It should be mentioned that in the last four days, five ships carrying migrants sank off the coast of Tunisia, as a result of which 67 people went missing and 9 others died.
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni recently asked the International Monetary Fund and European countries to help Tunisia prevent the illegal entry of migrants into Europe.
