Thomas West posted on Twitter that he discussed education in Afghanistan in a meeting with Rina Amiri, the US special representative for Afghanistan’s human and women’s rights, and Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani women’s rights activist.

Meanwhile, Rina Amiri posted on Twitter that in this meeting, there was a discussion about Malala Yousafzai’s work and activities in the field of supporting Afghan women and girls.

It should be noted that the Islamic Emirate has suspended the education of girls above the sixth grade and the education of girls in public and private universities.

Although the authorities of the Islamic Emirate say that work is underway on a plan to reopen schools and universities for girls, but this plan has not been finalized yet, as the new academic year is about to begin.
