ICC Issues Putin’s Arrest Warrant

The International Criminal Court announced on Friday (17th of March) that Vladimir Putin’s arrest warrant has been issued for the ‘illegal deportation’ of Ukrainian children.

This court claims to have obtained evidence that shows that Putin was directly and indirectly involved in the forced transfer of these children.

This court has also considered Mrs. Maria Alexeyevna lvova-belova, one of the Russian officials, to be an accomplice in this accusation and issued her arrest warrant.

However, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia rejected this accusation and said that it does not recognize the jurisdiction of this court, but the Ukrainian government welcomed this decision.
