According to a statement from the spokesman’s office of the Islamic Emirate, Iodice, in a meeting with Mullah Abdul Wase, the head of the Prime Minister’s Office, requested the attention of the Islamic Emirate officials in this regard.

He has emphasized that work and education should be provided for women in Afghanistan.

Iodice added that the European Union will be with the people of Afghanistan until the corruption disappears and the level of poverty decreases.

In this meeting, Mullah Abdul Wase said that the Islamic Emirate is not against education and that the problems that have arisen should be solved through understanding and dialogue.

It should be mentioned that last month, two high-level delegations of the United Nations also visited Afghanistan and, in a meeting with the officials of the Islamic Emirate, demanded a reconsideration of the ban on women’s work and education.
