Iran Once Again Emphasized the Formation of a Comprehensive Government in Afghanistan

The state news agency IRNA has reported that Abdullahian discussed Afghanistan in a meeting with Sheikh Mohammad bin Abdulrahman Al-Thani, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar.

In a joint press conference with Qatar’s foreign minister in Tehran, Iran’s foreign minister once again criticized the prohibition of Afghan women and girls from work and education.

He said that Iran is ready to facilitate the opening of schools and universities for girls in coordination with the current government of Afghanistan.

It should be mentioned that Iran kept its embassy in Kabul active after the fall of the previous government, but until now it has not recognized the current government of Afghanistan.
