Caroline Gluck, the spokesperson of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees in Afghanistan, has said that the distribution of humanitarian aid is essential for the needy Afghans in this cold winter.
Caroline Gluck announced on Twitter her trip to Bamyan Province and said that Afghanistan is facing one of the coldest winters.
According to her, the distribution of cash aid will help people to prepare for their needs in winter.
While this winter is one of the coldest winters in the last ten years, it is said that at least 160 people have died due to the cold weather and thousands of livestock have been lost.
