David Wright, CEO of Save the Children organization, said that the organization will resume its health, education, and nutrition activities with the presence of female staff.
According to him, the Afghan authorities have guaranteed that female employees can work in these sectors without any issues.
Meanwhile, he stated that 50% of the employees of this organization in Afghanistan are women, and asked the authorities of the Islamic Emirate to reconsider the prohibition of women working in non-governmental offices.
It should be mentioned that Save the Children, along with dozens of other international aid organizations, stopped their activities in Afghanistan due to the ban on women’s work in domestic and foreign non-governmental offices.
