The US condemned the execution of these two people and called it an attempt by the Iranian government to suppress the protests.
Meanwhile, the European Union has asked the Iranian authorities to stop executing protesters.
On the other hand, Annalena Baerbock, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany, posted on Twitter, that the execution of protesters increases Germany’s desire to increase pressure on Iran.
However, the United Nations Human Rights Office has also condemned the execution of these two protesters and says that they were tried and executed based on forced confessions.
Iran’s judiciary, however, said these two people were executed on charges of murdering a militiaman during a demonstration in November.
According to the Iranian authorities, this militia has been made naked and then killed by a number of protesters.
