In this report published on Friday (30 December), it is stated that Afghanistan is the most dangerous country for journalists after Iraq and Syria.

With the end of 2022, this organization has reflected the violence against journalists in the last 20 years around the world in a report.

In the report, it is said that in the last 20 years, more than 1,668 journalists and media workers have been killed, 80% of them from 15 countries, including Syria, Iraq, and Afghanistan.

According to this report, 81 journalists have been killed in Afghanistan alone during these years.

This is while many Afghan journalists have left the country and migrated to other countries in the past year.

At the same time, a large number of Afghan journalists have lost their jobs due to the closure of the media.
