Afghanistan’s independent media support organization (NAI) has published a statement on the occasion of this day, saying that during the past year, 50% of television broadcasts in the country have been stopped due to economic problems.

The source added that during this period, 48 percent of radio channels and all print media in Afghanistan stopped working.

Stopping financial support for the media and reducing commercial announcements are considered to be one of the main reasons for the economic problems of the media in the country.
