In a joint press conference with S.J. Shankar, his Indian counterpart, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov stressed the need to establish an inclusive government in Afghanistan and said that the Islamic Emirate has not fulfilled its commitments to the international community.
At the same time, the Indian Foreign Minister expressed concern about the humanitarian situation in Afghanistan and says that the international community does not pay attention to Afghanistan as it should.
This is despite the fact that next week, Russia will host a meeting of officials of regional countries regarding Afghanistan.
Although the current Afghan officials were not invited to this meeting, the Russian Foreign Minister says that he will share the results with the Islamic Emirate and Afghan politicians.
