Zelensky made these words on Tuesday night (25 October) in Croatia during a meeting between several countries’ heads of parliaments.
The meeting was held in order to coordinate the international response to Russia’s actions in the region.
According to reports, Zelensky participated in this meeting virtually and said that ‘we will definitely liberate Crimea, “we will not only return this part of our country to the territorial integrity of Ukraine but also to the integrity of Europe”.
The Crimean Peninsula was annexed by Russia in 2014 after a series of conflicts.
