According to the announcement of UNAMA, many of the victims of this event are girls, and the number of injured has reached 82 people.

Meanwhile, in response to the suppression of protesters by the security forces in Kabul, UNAMA called for all Afghans’ protection rights and to stop using weapons to prevent peaceful demonstrations.

On the other hand, Reena Amiri, the US representative for women’s affairs and human rights in Afghanistan, posted on her Twitter that any claim of valid sovereignty must be accompanied by measures to protect the most vulnerable people, not to suppress and silence their demands through violence.

It should be noted that on Saturday, a number of women in the west of Kabul, in response to the recent suicide attack in an educational center, took to the streets and demanded the security of the people.

UNAMA has published a statement saying that this march was met with violence.

But the Kabul Security Commander says that all protests should be done in coordination with the security departments, otherwise the security forces are obliged to prevent them.
