Tom West: The US is to Create a System to Stabilize Afghanistan’s Economy

Tom West at the Center for Strategic and International Studies in Washington said: “The approach of providing humanitarian aid to Afghanistan is costly and unsustainable”.

However, he once again emphasized the necessity of interacting with the Islamic Emirate and helping the people of Afghanistan.

Meanwhile, the US has not responded positively to the Islamic Emirate’s request to release the foreign exchange reserves of the Central Bank of Afghanistan.

Afghanistan has been faced with a humanitarian and economic crisis due to freezing these reserves by the US.
