This ministry presented its annual report, on Tuesday (27th September), regarding civilian casualties in US military operations in 2021.

The report states that in January and August of this year, twelve civilians were killed in four air operations by US forces in Herat, Kandahar, and Kabul provinces.

According to the source, two other civilians were also injured in these operations.

It should be noted that the US forces left Afghanistan on August 31, 2021, after a fifteen-day evacuation process at the Kabul airport.

During this process, the US airstrike targeted a residential house near the Kabul airport, in which about ten civilians were killed.
