The World Food Program is Trying to Transfer Goods to Afghanistan by Railway

According to an announcement of the Afghanistan Railway Department, Bakht al-Rahman Sharaf, the head of the department has met Dargosla, the head of the logistics department of the World Food Program for Afghanistan.

Mr. Dargosla in this meeting said: “The World Food Program wants to choose Rozanak railway station as a distributing center for providing aid in the western provinces of Afghanistan”.

Meanwhile, the head of the Afghanistan Railway Department has assured that the department is ready to cooperate in transferring, desired goods of the World Food Program through the Khawaf-Herat railway line.

The goods that the World Food Program is trying to transfer to Afghanistan include humanitarian aid that should be delivered to the needy in remote areas of Afghanistan by the coming winter season.
