Iran Human Rights Watch in a report, citing Mahmoud Amiri Moghadam, head of this organization, it is stated: “The documents and evidence show that Iranian security forces are shooting directly at the protesters”.
He asked the international community to take practical and decisive steps in order to stop the killing and torture of protesters in Iran.
According to the report, many families have been forced to bury the bodies of their loved ones at night and in silence.
Meanwhile, the Committee to Protect Journalists said: “18 journalists have been jailed for covering the protests in Iran”.
Protests in Iran began about 12 days ago after a 22-year-old girl named Mahsa Amini died after being arrested by the security forces for not wearing the hijab.
