In an interview with PBS, Recep Tayyip Erdoğan said that he understood this case during the talks with Putin and that important steps will be taken to end the war in Ukraine.
Meanwhile, during a speech at the United Nations General Assembly in New York, he asked countries and international organizations to support Turkey’s efforts to establish peace in Ukraine.
Erdogan emphasized that Russia and Ukraine should be allowed to get out of this war in an honorable way.
This is despite the fact that recently the Russian forces have been pushed back from most of the areas under their control in Ukraine.
In the last case, the Ukrainian forces announced that they have completely captured the Luhansk region.
