According to the Kyrgyz media, citing the statement of the border guards of that country, the conflict occurred when the border forces of Tajikistan did not respect the border limits and entered Kyrgyzstan’s territory.
In the statement, it is claimed that the border patrol forces of Tajikistan started shooting at the Kyrgyz forces without paying attention to the legal warnings and faced their response.
The government of Tajikistan has not said anything in this regard so far.
Batken is one of the provinces of Kyrgyzstan, which is adjacent to the Sogdia region of Tajikistan.
In the statement of the Kyrgyz forces, it is stated that none of the border forces of that country were injured or killed in this conflict, but no information was given about the casualties on the Tajik side.
