Azerbaijan Accused Armenia of Provocative Actions

Azerbaijan in a statement has said: “The Monday nights’ (12^th September) clashes between Armenian and Azerbaijani forces resulted in casualties.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan, in a statement, said: “The Armenian military attacks, caused casualties to the armed forces of Azerbaijan and damaged the military infrastructures”.

 However, this ministry of Azerbaijan has not said anything about the number of casualties.

It is stated in the statement that the armed forces of Armenia carried out provocative actions in the border areas of Dash Kasen, Kalb jar, and Lachine late on the night of September 12th and the Azerbaijani forces also carried out “retaliatory” attacks.

On the other hand, the Ministry of Defense of Armenia has announced that the Azerbaijani forces heavily targeted the Armenian forces in Goris, Sotak, and Jermuk areas with artillery fire and drones.
