Unknown men on Thursday morning around 7:12 local time gunned down policemen in Deh Araban area of Kabul city’s fifth district, killing one and injuring another.
Three arrests were made in relation to the matter, according to interior ministry, of whom one was injured.
An investigation into the matter was underway, a spokesman for the ministry said.
Afghan officials constantly blame Taliban for targeted killings.
The attacks however remain unclaimed often.
