According to health ministry, as many as 86 more patients have died after contracting the COVID-19 disease, pushing the toll of fatalities to 4,452.
Also, as many as 1,575 new cases of infection were reported in the country, bringing the nationwide case count to 109,532.
Some 573 patients have recovered from the virus during the 24-hours period.
Afghanistan is currently battling a third wave of the pandemic with health officials asking residents to follow health measures.
