Central Hospital in Kunar Catches Fire after Mortar Attack

A mortar round struck a residential area while another hit the central hospital of Asad Abad city, provincial capital of eastern Kunar province, Wednesday morning, said police spokesman Farid Dehqan.

The attack has left no casualties, but caused material damages.

The rounds were fired from mountains along the Durand Line, but it was not clear who had shot.

There was no claim of responsibility for the attack.
