Roadside bomb struck a police vehicle in Turaie area in Kama district of eastern Nangarhar province, said police spokesman Farid Khan.
According to him, three policemen were injured in the explosion which took place Monday afternoon.
Another source spoke with TKG, saying five were wounded in the attack.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility.
