According to sources who spoke with TKG on condition of anonymity, all security personnel have evacuated the district as tribal leaders mediated and now the district was under the Taliban control.
The government failed to provide on-time support and assistance, sources said, and thus, the district fell to Taliban.
Taliban officials have also confirmed capture of the district.
Zabihullah Mujahed, a spokesman for the group, has written on Twitter that fighters have captured centers of Mandol and Dawab districts.
