Taliban last night stormed security outposts in several villages of Badghis’ Jond district, provincial governor Hisamuddin Shams spoke with TKG.
Five army soldiers were killed and two others wounded in the attack, he said.
A dozen Taliban fighters were killed and 12 more wounded as clashes erupted between government forces and the Taliban, according to the governor.
Badghis Province is located in the isolated hills of northwestern Afghanistan with a deteriorated security situation
