The Taliban militants have shot and killed a woman named Kubra, who was Director of Farah Juvenile Rehabilitation Center on Wednesday evening, officials said.
The incident took place in Kukship village in northwest of the Afghanistan’s western Farah province, said Farooq Hazrati, provincial police spokesman.
The spokesman added that Kubra had went to an area controlled by the Taliban without coordination with government forces.
The Taliban officials have yet to comment.
