A woman, wearing explosives, wanted to attack on the headquarters of Qaisar police chief in Afghanistan’s northern Faryab province, said Tariq Arian, spokesman for the Ministry of Interior.
Afghan forces identified and killed her before she could manage to blow up herself, Mr. Arian said.
Also, three militants said to have belonged to the Taliban were killed and another three wounded, according to the spokesman.
Afghan officials point the blame at Taliban to be responsible, but the group has yet to comment.
