Approximately 115 C-17 loads of material have been retrograded out of Afghanistan since President Biden’s troop withdrawal decision, according to a statement released by the U.S. Central Command on Tuesday, May 18.
Also, five facilities have been handed over to the Afghan Ministry of Defense, it added.
It also said that a retrograde process has been done between 13 to 20 percent.
“U.S. Central Command estimates that we have completed between 13-20% of the entire retrograde process,” the statement said.
Earlier on mid April, the U.S. President Joe Biden announced a full troop withdrawal from Afghanistan by Sept. 11, ending America’s longest war.
