A man named Hamdullah said to be an employee of Islamqala customs office has been killed in an armed attack in Beland Bazar area, Islamqala, Herat governor Sayed Waheed Qitali said.
According to the spokesman, he was working in gas and fuels department of the customs office.
There was no immediate claim of responsibility for the attack.
No arrest has been made so far.
