An attacker said to have belonged to the Taliban was killed yesterday in Kunduz city after police recognized and shot at him, said provincial governor Satar Mirzakwal.
He wanted to attack on the personnel of Kunduz city’s first district, according to the source.
Another assailant was wounded and police efforts were underway to arrest him.
There was no immediate comment from the Taliban.
