A teenager, said to be 12-year-old, was killed late on Monday in a landmine blast in Qarabagh district of Ghazni province, country’s southern province, said governor spokesman Wahidullah Jumazada.
The teenager had been working as laborer, threshing wheat, and was killed after being hit by a Taliban landmine, according to the spokesman.
There was no immediate comment from the Taliban.
