Taliban Key Commander Killed in Peshawar

A Taliban commander for Afghanistan’s eastern Nangarhar province was killed Monday in Pakhtunkhwa, Peshawar.

Nek Mohammad Rahbarmal, a Taliban military commander for the Afghan eastern Nangarhar province, was killed in Haji Camp area in Peshawar Monday evening, said Nangarhar’s governor Ziaulhaq Amarkhel.

Another two of his fellows had been wounded, the governor said.

There was no comment from the insurgent group yet.

The Islamic State/Daesh has reportedly claimed responsibility for the murder.
