Kabul: Afghan Police Forces Foil Bomb Explosion

 Afghan forces on Saturday morning found and defused a bomb placed in an area in Qarabagh district of Afghanistan’s capital, Kabul, said Ferdaws Faramarz, provincial police spokesman.

There was no claim of responsibility for the plot.

Afghanistan, already gripped by decades-long war and violence, has been witnessing a rise in bomb attacks.

The attacks, often without claim of responsibility, claims lives of civilians mostly.
