According to police spokesman Ferdaws Faramarz, Nazari was killed Wednesday afternoon in his home in Deh Bori area, third district of capital, Kabul.
His death remained mysterious. However, police spokesman said initial investigations indicated it was a criminal assault.
Further probing into the incident was underway, according to police.
There was no claim of responsibility for the murder and police has failed to arrest the perpetrators.
