In a statement released, the Defense Ministry said Afghan Air Force has carried out air raids on Taliban militants in Helmand, Baghlan and Uruzgan provinces.
As many as 34 Taliban have been killed and another 14 wounded during the raids, according to the ministry.
A number of the insurgents’ weapons and military equipment were demolished during the raid, it added.
The Taliban officials have yet to comment.
