Armed Taliban on Monday evening attacked on people attending the funeral of Malik Afghan, CHA office’s former head, in Farah city outskirts, Shah Mahmoud Naeemi, member of the provincial council told TKG.
According to the source, bodyguard of Mr. Afghan’s son was killed and eight others wounded in the attack.
The Taliban officials have not commented yet.
Farah, a province in western part of the country bordered with Iran, is one of the less secured provinces, where Taliban are active in most areas in the province.
