Tariq Arian, spokesman for the Afghan Ministry of Interior, said that as many as six civilians, including a children had been killed in Taliban attacks in five provinces of the country on Friday.
The Taliban carried out attacks in Laghman, Sarepul, Nangarhar, Takhar and Khost provinces, according to Mr. Arian.
Another 21 had been wounded in those attacks, he said.
It comes as in a new report published by media, as many as 305 people had been killed in targeted killings in the past one month and another 349 wounded during this period, most of whom are civilians.
The Taliban group has yet to comment but has constantly denied similar reports.
