Coronavirus: Afghanistan Reports 81 New Infections

Health ministry in Afghanistan on Saturday (April 03) reported 81 new COVID-19 infections and no related death in the past 24 hours.

According to Afghan health ministry, no more patients have died after contracting the disease. The toll of fatalities to stood at 2,497.

Also, as many as 81 new cases of infection were reported in the country, bringing the nationwide case count to 56,676.

Some 51,802 patients have recovered from the virus since the outbreak first appeared in China entered the country.

According to the health ministry’s data, more than 65,000 have been vaccinated since the drive in the south-Asian country began on February.
