An explosive device placed inside a flower pot went off today morning around 8:20, said provincial police spokesman Adel Shah Adel.
The IED was detonated while a police vehicle was passing, he said.
According to the spokesman, a military member and a civilians were lightly wounded in the attack.
It follows a bomb attack last week which claimed two and wounded 20 others.
There were no claims of responsibility for these attacks.
