Afghan forces have arrested head of the Taliban intelligence for eastern Nangarhar province, the Ministry of Defense said.
In a statement released Monday, the Afghan Ministry of Defense said commando forces launched operations yesterday in Shirzad district of eastern Nangarhar province.
The man was named Shafiqullah and was arrested along with two others suspects.
The Taliban officials have yet to comment.
