Afghan forces on Saturday morning found an IED in Haidar Khan area near Paghman district of the capital Kabul, said provincial police spokesman Ferdaws Faramarz.
The government forces defused the explosive device, foiling a massive explosion which was set up to target civilians, he said.
It wasn’t clear who was behind the plot.
