The first explosion, caused by an IED placed inside a garbage, took place near the provincial capital’s first district, said police spokesman Farid Khan.
One civilian was wounded in the explosion, he said.
It was then followed by a roadside bomb explosion in the fourth district of the city, according to the spokesman, killing one and wounding another civilian.
The man killed in the explosion was a municipal worker, he said.
Another two explosions also has taken place in the province, leaving no casualties.
There was no claim of responsibility for these attacks.
