As many as 15 Taliban were killed or wounded in Afghanistan’s eastern province of Nangarhar within the past 24 hours.
In a statement released Tuesday, the provincial media outlets said at least 11 Taliban militants were killed and another four wounded in Shirzad and Hesarak districts of Nangarhar province.
A number of weapons were also seized from the militants, according to the statement.
The Taliban group has yet to comment.
