A corolla-type car was targeted by a bomb attack in Kabul-Logar route in Bagrami district of Kabul province Saturday morning around 9:00 local time, provincial police spokesman Ferdaws Faramarz said.
In another incident, police spokesman said three bomb attacks were foiled after Afghan forces found and defused three IEDs placed in Paghman district of the capital as well as in the eighth and 18th districts.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
Afghanistan, already gripped by decades-long war and violence, has been witnessing a rise in bomb attacks.
The attacks, often without claim of responsibility, claims lives of civilians mostly.
