One person was killed and another wounded after two motorcycles collided in an area known as Bam-e Herat Friday evening, said Mohammad Arif Jalali, head of the regional hospital in the province.
According to Mr. Jalali, traffic accidents has increased by 10 percent this year.
Drivers’ negligence, high speed and collapsed roads are believed to be the main causes and factors that contribute to car collisions.
