Unidentified gunmen attacked on police officers in Bagrami district of the Afghan capital, Kabul, Wednesday morning around 7:15 local time, the provincial police chief said.
At least two security personnel were killed in the attack, according to the source.
Investigations into the incident were underway.
On Tuesday too, an national security official was assassinated in the city.
There was no claim of responsibility for these attacks.
