Security officials in eastern Nangarhar province said its forces have seized at least 2,450 addictive pills.
Two drug smugglers placed dozens of ‘tablet K’ pills inside a truck, said provincial police spokesman Farid Khan.
Police arrested them in Torkham border town, the spokesman added.
The arrested people have confessed and were under questioning.
This was not the first time that arrests were made for drug smuggling charges.
